It was an encounter that forever changed her life. Stuck in a dead end town, suffering the scorn of one too many bad choices, life was passing her by, and she knew that there had to be more. She was thirsty. Thirsty for, well she wasn’t quite sure, but there had to be more than this.
Then she met him, and it wasn’t by chance. He needed to see her. He needed to tell her that she was more than a castaway. She was worth so much more than what she had been told by selfish men. She was worth more than the scornful looks of haughty women. He told her that. He told her more than He had told any other person this far in His ministry. He revealed to her that He was the Messiah. The Life Changer. The Living Water.
And she drank deeply of this crystal clear Water. And she was never the same.
” But the water that I give
will be fountain that springs up into everlasting life.”
